Get involved
Carers Oxfordshire has a strong commitment to paid staff and volunteers, which is shown through our training and development programmes in accordance with our Investors in People and ISO 9001 accreditations.
“I was unable to get a paid job because I was thought to be too old, so the Job Centre told me to try some volunteering, and I have gained so much from giving my time here."
Carers Oxfordshire could not exist without the help and support of our many volunteers – the services we run are all maintained by our 400 volunteers along with members of staff. All our volunteers are fully trained and are in regular contact with their supervisors.
We have a varied selection of volunteering opportunities available. Please have a look out our menu to see if there is something that will suit you:
All of our volunteers will primarily go through a registration process which includes the request of two references and a Criminal Records Bureau check.
