About us

Carers Oxfordshire is a partnership between the charities Action for Carers (Oxfordshire) and Rethink Mental Illness. Action for Carers (Oxfordshire) is an independent charity, established in 2012.

We provide the Oxfordshire statutory service to unpaid carers of someone who lives in Oxfordshire as commissioned by Oxfordshire County Council.

We support adult carers of someone who lives in Oxfordshire. A carer is a person age 18+ who provides unpaid necessary support to a family member or friend who has a disability, illness, addiction, condition or other need for support.
