Oxfordshire Talking Therapies

Oxfordshire Talking Therapies is a free service that offers talking therapies to people across Oxfordshire. They are part of the NHS and offer services to patients registered with an Oxfordshire GP.

They also offer additional services such as employment support, digital consultations, and specialist support for those living with long-term health conditions. 

The team

They have a team of therapists from a variety of backgrounds, age groups, and cultures. Their staff has a range of work experience and training. The team is made up of Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners, Cognitive Behavioural Therapists, Clinical and Counselling Psychologists, Counsellors and Employment Support Advisers.

Who they work with

Oxfordshire Talking Therapies works with individuals experiencing common mental health problems including depression, anxiety, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), phobias, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), insomnia and low self-esteem.

They have specialist training in treating people with long-term physical health conditions as well, including Diabetes, Cardiac Disease, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS/ME) and Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD).

Referrals

Call 01865 901222 to self-refer or complete the referral form on www.oxfordhealth.nhs.uk/oxon-talking-therapies/contact/. Your GP or health professional can also make a referral for you.

Anyone aged 16 to 18 must be referred by Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services.
