Are you worried about paying the heating bill this winter?

Many libraries, village halls, businesses, churches, and other places have offered to help make sure that nobody is left to suffer in the cold. Here’s a list of places across Oxfordshire that are opening free or low-cost, warm, welcoming spaces for the public over the winter:

Hanwell Fields Community Centre

Mondays 6 – 8 pm
This is a book cafe, but if you are not into books and fancy just coming along for a coffee and a chat, then please feel free to do so, you can bring your knitting along if you like. Tea, coffee and cake available. Optional donation of £2.50.

Brackley Library

Pop in and use the library or get comfy and warm up anytime when they are open.

Thanks to the generosity of Brackley Library Friends, Brackley Elves, Waitrose and Mercedes they are able to offer free refreshments on Mondays and Tuesdays from 12pm-2pm. Come and help yourself to a drink and some lunch.
