Some local support groups are for unpaid carers in general while others are aimed at Carers with specific conditions such as dementia, Autism or for carers of people with mental health illness. Some are for communities like Veterans or those supporting someone with alcohol or drug dependency. Whichever you prefer you will get comfort from talking to other carers who understand your situation.
