Opportunities for learning
We offer a range of free courses and workshops for unpaid carers aged 18+, delivered through Abingdon & Witney College. They’re designed to help you learn something new, develop your skills and take some time for yourself while caring for someone who lives in Oxfordshire.
Whether you want to improve your wellbeing, learn new skills, try a new hobby, build your confidence or prepare for future employment, there’s a course to help you get something from your time.
All courses are free for eligible carers, with many available online or designed to fit around your caring responsibilities.
“The mindfulness course helped me make time for myself and connect with other carers who understood my situation.” — Carers Oxfordshire course participant
